Wild Otters was founded with a vision of securing future of otters. Founded in September 2014 by Atul Borker, the organisation has already taken long strides in otter research and conservation in India. The organisation is run on an evolving conservation entrepreneurship model. Based in Goa, majority of the research work has been done in Goa with new projects being started in Karnataka and Maharashtra. The organisation has also been pioneering in building capacity for otter conservation in India and Sri Lanka.
